The Journey Begins: Welcome to the Nigerian Drivers Challenge (Naija Driver 2026)!
Every single day, millions of Nigerians take to the roads. From the bustling, high-energy streets of Lagos to the sweeping interstate highways connecting our great nation, driving is the absolute lifeblood of our economy. Yet, for too long, the true heroes of our roads—the disciplined, skillful, and safety-conscious self, private and commercial drivers—have gone uncelebrated.
That narrative changes today.
Welcome to the Nigerian Drivers Challenge (Naija Driver 2026), the premier national platform designed to champion road safety culture, elevate driving standards, and celebrate exceptional motorists across all 36 states and the FCT!
This is NOT a Car Race
Let’s clear the air immediately: The Nigerian Drivers Challenge is strictly a competency and safety competition, not a high-speed car race.
We are not looking for the driver who can move the fastest. We are searching for the driver who possesses the highest level of precision, the calmest mind under pressure, absolute lane discipline, and unshakeable defensive driving skills.
Backed by Nigeria’s Highest Traffic Authorities
We believe that true transformation on our highways requires alignment with the absolute best. That is why the Nigerian Drivers Challenge 2026 is built on solid regulatory foundations.
We are proud to execute this nationwide project in direct technical alignment and endorsement with:
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
The Lagos State Drivers Institute (LASDRI)
The Automobile & Touring Club of Nigeria (ATCN)—the sole representative of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in Nigeria.
The Roadmap to the Crown: How It Works
The challenge is structured in three distinct, completely transparent phases to ensure absolute fairness:
Phase 1: Free National Registration (Live Now!)
Registration is 100% free for all male and female Nigerian residents aged 18 to 65 with a valid National Driver’s License. Once you register, your dashboard instantly unlocks access to the official National Highway Code study materials.Phase 2: The National CBT Screening (October 2026)
All registered participants will sit for a synchronized, 20-minute online Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 randomized multiple-choice questions. The portal features advanced, hardened anti-cheat systems to ensure a perfectly level playing field. The Top 3 highest scorers in each state will win regional prizes, and the number one state champion will advance to the finals!Phase 3: The Grand Finale (Lagos, November 7, 9 & 10, 2026)
The 36 states and FCT champions will converge on a secure, closed-circuit track arena in Lagos State. To ensure complete equity, all finalists will compete using identical, pre-calibrated vehicles provided by our partners.
More Than a Trophy: What's at Stake?
The ultimate winner will walk away with massive cash rewards, a new car, comprehensive vehicle insurance, and the prestigious title of The Naija Driver 2026.
Additionally, because we want to empower every single participant, every driver who completes the digital training and online test will have the exclusive option to generate an official, verified Certificate of Defensive Driving Competence to significantly boost their prospective employment opportunities across corporate and logistics fleets nationwide or just to satisfy his pride and prove his competence.
