Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

NIGERIAN DRIVERS CHALLENGE — LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK Version 2026.1 Voluntary participation. You acknowledge that registering for and taking part in the Nigerian Drivers Challenge is voluntary. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and properly licensed to participate under the published rules. Assumption of risk. You understand that participation may involve online examinations, document verification, travel to any in-person stages (if applicable to an edition), and public or semi-public recognition of results. You accept the ordinary risks associated with such activities, including technical interruptions, scheduling changes, and the possibility that your attempt or ranking may be reviewed or adjusted under integrity rules. Release. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you release and hold harmless the Challenge organisers, their officers, employees, agents, partners, and contractors from claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising out of your participation, except where caused by fraud or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Medical and personal arrangements. You are responsible for your own travel, devices, connectivity, and any personal insurance you consider appropriate. The Challenge does not provide personal accident cover unless expressly stated for a specific event. Indemnity for misconduct. You agree to indemnify the organisers against claims and costs arising from your fraud, document forgery, cheating, unauthorised disclosure of exam content, or other wilful breach of Challenge rules. Binding effect. This waiver binds you and, to the extent permitted by law, your heirs and personal representatives. If any part is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Acceptance. By accepting this waiver you confirm that you have read it, understand it, and agree to its terms as a condition of registration.
